generate guides at increments

Hi there,

I would like to create guides every 160mm. Is there a way to do this automatically without typing in the x value for each one? I tried creating a grid of that size, but I want the guides to start at the 0,0 point on ruler, not at the corner of the artboard so that didn't work.

I would create the first guide, with Shift+Ctrl+M I would select the move, and there I would put the specified distance. after that, it is duplicate with CTRL+D as far as it is needed.

You can:

Drag a line at the 0/0 point

View > Guides > Make Guides

Double Click the black Selection Tool

Move 160 mm

Click Copy

Cmd D or Ctrl D as much as you need copies
