Getting error message when I try to install brushes into Adobe Illustrator.

I've downloaded some brushes for Illustrator, but when I go to install them I get the error message "The file 'NAMEOFFILE.abr' is an unknown format and its styles cannot be imported."

 

Any idea what might be causing this?

.abr is a Photoshop brush. Not one for Illustrator.
