Getting icons from Adobe Stock Vector File to Symbols?

Hi All

I have licensed a number of icon sets from Adobe Stock, and would like to know if it is possible to get the individual icons from the .ai file into a set of symbols?

 

I have access to all the layers/groups, etc, but how do I get them to appear as a symbol set?

Make sure each of the grahics is its own group and they are not grouped together. Then use the 3D & Materials panel.

You should be able to select each symbols, one at a time, by dragging over the whole symbol with the Direct Selectiion tool Once the complete symbol is selected you can add it to the Symbols panel.
