Getting small lines when deleting points in Illustrator

Hey everybody

I'm currently working on a new logo design in Illustrator for which I'm removing parts of letters. I first converted the letters to paths, then added points at the cutting edge and finally removed the points that I don't need anymore. But now I'm getting theese fine lines where I cut the letters. Weirdly enough, they only appear at the "a" and "m". Can anyone please help me remove those or find a better way to do it? Thank you very much.

After outlining text they are compound paths.

Maybe using the shapebuilder tool could help repairing this.

You could also trty and relöease the compound paths and then connect the remaining path segments

First of all, thanks for your responses. The lines seem to stay the same tickness when zooming, preview mode didn't help. When saved as a svg file, the lines are still there. I shared the file so you can have a look for yourselfe if you want to. I think that makes things easier. Cheers, Sam
