Glossy black background with colorful rainbow wave

Hi All,I am reaching out for process guidance to achive the image attached.I suspect it may be a combination of Illustrator & Photoshop?I'm far from an expert and have exhausted online tutorials for ideas.Any assitance would be greatfully received.Cheers

There are possible blends in it and possibly gradient meshes.

also blending modes have been used.

You need to work in RGB color mode to get this.

And a lot of experientation. If you want to experiment and learn: go for it, it will be fun.

If you need this quickly, I would just license it on a stock portal. It will take a considerable amount of time to create it.
