Why cant i find/access glyphs in illustrator 10??

Correct answer Ton Frederiks

It's going to be difficult for anyone to check for you with a version that old.

I think @Ton Frederiks still has access to some ancient versions?

@Doug A Roberts unfortunately not, with my newer machine I can only go back to Illustrator 2023 (version 27). But as Bobby and Monika confirmed OpenType support was only added in version 11 (CS).

The Glyphs panel was introduced in version CS.

I've looked it up in the manual of that version.

Adobe Illustrator 10? As in the version released in 2001?

The Glyphs panel is typically found under the Type menu. IIRC, I don't think Illustrator 10 had a glyphs panel. Illustrator didn't include OpenType support until version 11, the first Creative Suite release. I could be wrong, but I think the Glyphs panel appeared around the CS1 or CS2 time frame.

Yes, 2001 as in 8/01...No glyphs that you know of? It's not located under
the window/type menu...
