Hello to the community, I am trying to find a budget graphic card for my PC which is only for work with Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign. I really would like the GPU acceleration to work with the new card and would like to go with Nvidia.

I found the geforce 1030 but the system requirements of illustrator for the GPU performance only lists the quadro and GTX. Does anyone has the GT 1030 and knows if it works with Illustrators GPU acceleration?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I checked the GT 1030 performance on paper, and I must tell you that it doesn't show a great promise in performance. In today's date, Intel integrated Xe graphic will perform better than this. If you are under a constrained budget, then I would personally suggest you to go for Nvidia GTX 1050-Ti 4GB DDR5 or GTX 1060 6GB DDR5 or above model to see a difference in GPU performance in Illustrator. I hope this insight helps!

Yes, i have a GTX1060 and it performs perfectly with illustrator, indesign, and the more exigent Photoshop, there are several brnds built on this chip from Nvidia. 3d effects and filters are the tasks that will run faster, take considerable less time.a thing to have in mind is to keep current, latest, drivers for the card.
