Gray screen shows when mouse is hover over object

Hello,

 

When the mouse cursor is hovered over an object, a gray screen keeps popping up. Please see the attached screenshot and let me know how to fix this issue.

Does that also happen when you uncheck the GPU in Preferences > GPU
