Question

LG Vernice

Vernice's question is not about zooming. It's about decreasing and increasing the object size with a keyboard shortcut.

Unlike InDesign, Illustrator currently does not provide this feature. You can create an action instead and assign a shortcut to it.

Hey, thanks for understanding my point 🙂

Sound good! But how do I do that? 🙂
Is it a script? Or what do you mean by "action"? I know this one from Photoshop... but never used it in Illustrator...

Would be very glad for a litte Step by Step Guide!!! Thanks!!

You can set Zoom to Selection in your preferences. Go to Edit > Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display (Windows) or Illustrator > Settings... > Selection & Anchor Display (macOS) and set Zoom to Selection.

When that setting is enabled, using Control (Windows) or Command (macOS) with the + key, Illustrator will zoom into whatever you have selected.
