Guides are't visible

Why are my guides not visible?  I drag them down from the ruler and normally show up blue so I can match things up.  Right now they show up in the Layers, so I know they are there, but they are invisible.

If  View > Guides > Show Guides does not resolve your issue, please let us know what OS and Illustrator versions you are using.

you could click occasionally Ctrl+;, the shortcut for hide/show guides. Try to click it again or use View > Guides > Show Guides menu command.

Invisible only while dragging or moving?

Disable the Realtime Drawing in the preferences - Performance.

If this is not the problem - please show something.
