[help] Artboard cant be created outside canvas bounds

I pressed "New Artboard" on the Artboard panel. This showed up. What?

Are you making an artboard from art? You may be able to have your art hanging outside the canvas area, but making an artboard from it is not do able.

Also if adding an artboard to your current total width &/or height exceeds the canvas, then yeah, it won't be able to make one.

You could try rearranging with smaller gap although Illy doesn't try to do a best fit it just puts them in creation order...

Or change to oversized format if you aren't alreday in it >227"

Hi,

most likely you have finished the space on the right. Try moving the last artboard down and then try to create a new one.
