Can someone please tell me how can I make the edges sharp? And not to have that part at the end...

I want to have only the shape that's selected with blue...

What happens if you remove the stroke (set to None) and just use a fill?

Is that only one item, or two stacked? If the latter then edit your item so it does not project passed the one above, or use a clipping mask.

If the former, try toggling the preview - ctrl-e on pc...
