HELP, please! Illustrator File Exported to PDF is Out of Order, why?

I am designing a planner and I have an Illustrator document with 215 artboards. When I click 'edit artboards' all the numbers are right, but when I look at the PDF I exported the last artboard (which should be #215) is #23. Any idea why or how to fix it?

Also, the artboards panel has #215 in the right spot.

I'm designing for a client and I have a deadline to hit, so anything helps!

UPDATE: It is now saying "Cannot find adobe acrobat application." ???

Thanks!

In the tools panel for artboards, there's a rearrange icon in the bottom left. Click on that and update the settings if needed then hit OK. If you rearrange the artboards in the tools panel, they won't update on the document until you hit the rearrange icon.

Are you arranging your artboards in the correct order within the Artboards panel?

When you export out a PDF there is an option in the General tab for View PDF after Saving. If you turn this off it will still create the PDF but not try to then open it in a PDF compatible program such as Acrobat.
