Help regarding the Character panel

I have been havin issues with this character pannel for a while

 

When I slect the font it used to show the font name (capture) and I do change the font from there, now I have select the character then a dropdown menu then change the font in it (Capture2)

 

Can anyone let me know to make it to normal,

This occurs when there isn't enough screen real estate to show those options.

 

Have you changed AI versions recently (some slight redesigns have caused elements to take up more space).

Do you use a different monitor or resolution?

Well, your screen looks terribly small to be honest. This likely has nothing to do with AI at all, but your system simply not meeting the minimum system requirements for screen resolution. You need to fix that.
