Help! Squares in my image

I import my image and I want to create a cutline to print out on my Roland BN20A and there are several squares in my image.

Please help!

Use the direct select tool to select the paths you want to delete. They might be inside masks. Use the appearance window to help tell you what you have selected.

When you post a question you always need to tell the Adobe program you are using
There are MANY programs in a full subscription, plus other non-subscription programs

Sorry, I'm new to this Adobe stuff. I am using Adobe Illustrator and I need to transfer my image over to Roland Versaworks. I create an image in Silhouette Studio, move it over to Illustrator to create cutlines then send over to Versaworks so the printer can print and cut an image.
