Help! Stroke align options are greyed out when I select a path!

I don't really understand how it happend... this looks much more, like a bug, rather than an app specific. 

Align options are greyed out when I select a path I just created. 

However, as soon as a deselect it, they become avalible again. 

I've looked at a couple similar issues, but it their case was that they've been dealing with group strokes, which is definitely not my case.

Does anybody know why is this happening?
