HELP: Why does the color of text changed automatically?

This issue has been happening several times since Sep. when I copied and pasted some words from one artwork to another. You could see the detail on the screen shot I attached. Is there anybody can help me? it will be greatly appreciated.

    How has the white fill been applied? The characters? The text object? The layer?

    Do you copy from a PDF you opened?

    As of now everything would be possible. Without seeing the document and knowing the exactworkflow this is impossible to solve
