Help With Activating Fonts in Illustrator

I am currently working on a project in illustrator and am unable to activate fonts. I click the activate button but nothing happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Without any system information, exact version, info about the fonts and so on nobody can tell you much. start with the usual steps: Sign out of CC, sign back in, check your sync settings, clean out the local font caches and re-sync.
