Help with inflate

Hi

Can someone help me with the inflate, when i try to inflate any shape, it convert to little shapes as you can see in the images for a simple star shape.
How can i fix it?

Hi, when you make a shape in illustrator then you have to fill and stroke to add color to it, what you are trying to make using small stars please explain more.

In the image above, i've added white fill and black stoke but i just want to make a simple star ballon.
As you can see in image, when i inflate it creates small stars, and i only just want one.
