Hey community, I'm curious if anyone knows how to make something comparable to this liquid blob? My first instinct was to make concentric circles and then distort it in someway. Maybe it would be easier in photoshop rather than illustrator, but it would be nice if it was vector.

You could try the Warp tool in Illustrator, but as you remarked, it may be easier to start in Photoshop and use Image Trace in Illustrator to make it vector.
