History Log for Illustrator

Hi!

Photoshop has a feature which allows you to enable a log being written out to either the metadata or a txt file on local storage. You can see any file changes such as layer adjustments, layer styles, blend modes, etc., in a very detailed manner. This would be a great feature to have in Illustrator, despite it being a vector-based program. Being able to see when shapes were cut or unified, or what steps were taken to achieve something and in what order.

Thanks!

There is a history panel ,but it doesn't save the steps. It's only active as long as the file is open. And then there is Version History for cloud files, but it doesn't save single steps.
