Horizontally distribute for an action

Hello, I am trying to write an action that allows me to turn live text into and object, ungroup, then horizontally distribute each letter to be exactly 0.14" apart. It appears that it has a default value when it runs, does anyone know how I could possibly change that default value or if it is even possible?
