How can I add Copy, Paste, Paste in place, and Clear to the contextual menu?

Question

To make Adobe Illustrator easier to use and more accessible, it would be helpful to have Copy, Paste, Paste in place, and Clear commands included in the contextual menu (right-click menu). Beyond that, I would like to have the ability to customize the contextual menu to help further refine and streamline the options to those most frequently used. Does anyone know of any solutions for changing the contextual menu?

Hi jdan,As per now, there is no option to edit or customize contextual menu. However, this seems like a good feature request. Would request you to please take 2 mins to fill this as a feature request on our Adobe Illustrator Feedback form. This is the best way of communicating with the Engineering and Product Management teams regarding issues and suggestions so they can be implemented in future releases.Regards,Srishti

They have finally added right click copy and paste to Illustrator after a 30 year wait.  Used it by accident today, assuming that it was there since all other programs have had it since the beginning of time.  And .... holy %&$, it actually was there.  Our long international nightmre is over. &#128578;
