How can I create lettering with this glow/effect?

Does anyone have advice on tutorials I can follow or a breakdown of what I need to do to recreate this please. Thanks for your time!

Maybe like this:

Make a rectangle that has a freeform gradient of neon like colors:

Apply the text as a clipping mask and then add more fills to it in the Appearance panel (or as duplicates of the text object.

Blur those and the pink one is also moved to the left
