Is anything keeping applications from saving files? Antivirus or like that? Does Illustrator have sufficient privileges?

What's in the file? Did you use text? What happens when you change the font?

Do you have a printer and is it turned on? If not, turn it on. Is the printer driver current?

Can you save it as a Cloud file?

It's not saved yet, so first of all you need to get it saved somehow.
