Question

How can I select multiple targetted objects at once in layer panel?

Hi,

I have selected multiple objects in my drawing. These become targetted (marked with two circles in the layer panel). I want to move them to a new layer all at once, but I don't know how to select them all at once. Instead I have to tediously select each targetted object. How can I select all targetted objects at once?

Elias,

As I (mis)understand it, what happens if you have the target Layer collapsed and the source Layer expanded, then in the source Layer Click right on top of the object names, holding Ctrl/Cmd while Clicking each of non adjacent individual selected objects and/or holding Shift while Clicking the first and last of adjacent individual selected objects, then ClickDrag (them all by) the topmost or bottommost object (whichever is closest to the target Layer) to be on top of the target Layer and let go?

Edit: Hi Kurt, I just had to leave for a while before finishing, then saw yours. We shall soon have to attend to other duties, in the dark hours, before the sun is up again.

As per your description, you may do it by dragging the main selection marker of the source layer to the new layer. That should work.

Thanks for your response! Could you explain what the main selection marker is?
