How do I categorise new fonts?

Hi

I install new fonts all the time and would like to to categorise them as "Sans Serif" or "Script" so that I can find them when filtering fonts.

How do I categorise them like that?

It's either done automatically with information that is inside the font or it can't happen.

If you are using a font manager, then you can set up groups of your fonts, but inside Illustrator you can only set favourites
