Question

How do I know if I have CC apps

I am supposed to have illustrator CC for a class.  But my computer just says Illustrator at the top when the program is open.  I have Adobe Creative Cloud icon and my settings say Adobe Creative Cloud in my account but none of the actual Adobe programs I have show the CC after them.  Can anyone help this beginner figure this out.  Thanks

Adobe did drop the “CC” add-on for a while. All current programs from the creative cloud suite are CC programs. Only ancient programs, that do not evolve any more, still have the CC add on. Like here with Muse:

All current programs are without “CC”:

You need to check the version in “Help→About Illustrator” and compare that with the release notes: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/release-notes.html

You then know if your version is the latest.

If you have an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, either through the school or on yourself, you most probably have a current installation.

What is the number of the version AI you're using right now? If is above 14, then you have a CC version.
