How do i make this effect In Illustrator? Or is this a Photoshop thing?
I;ve been messing around with effects but cant seem to get this effect

The top one "Special" is probably just the Scribble effect applied to text.
The bottom one "Menu" can be done by applying an opacity mask. Search for tutorials for distressed type or Grunge.
