How do I reset my stroke?

I don't know how this was changed, but I'm trying to create images with crisp solid lines and I keep getting these 'painterly' grunge looking strokes with a varying width, despite the options I clicked to get the desired solid line.

I have no idea what is causing my pen tool stroke to do this. I haven't been able to use Ai because of this issue!
