Question

How do I resize a logo to make it smaller?

I am trying to make my logo smaller. I have contacted the help desk THREE times at Adobe and they are of zero help. I need to re-size my logo so it fits as a Facebook cover photo. Right now it's way too large. The Help Desk person made it too small.

And now when he went to the original file to center it, it is still too big, he keeps referring me to tutorials. Please help me resize it properly. I've been trying to change the font size but that does not help (logo is a word). Please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Here is the template I based the measurements on:

Switch your units to pixels.

Create an RGB document 1630 X 505 pixels

Scale your logo so that it fits in this 1630 X 505 pixels area.

Export artboard as png at 72 ppi
