How do you add a row to an existing table in Illustrator?

It's hard to believe, but it sees as though I'm the first person since Illustrator CC was released who wants to simply add three rows to an existing table and can't find clear instructions how to do it.

Can't find it in Illustrator Help.

Can't find it in Adobe Help.

Can't find it using Google.

Can't even find it in Bing!

Can someone help?

BTW, no, I can't create it in something else.

Thank you!

Try the Type > Area Type Options

Thanks and I understand. I'm using the rectangular grid feature, but the grid "table" already exists.

It appears the only way to add more rows is to add another, separate grid, which doesn't make a lot of sense because then I have to figure out how to remove the grid lines at the right and left margins (which isn't particularly clear how to do, either). It doesn't make a lot of sense to me that it's this hard.

You can't simply edit the grid, once it's been created. It must be done manually.

Illustrator does not have a table feature, you need to simulate the table.
