How many RAM I need?

Dear everyone,

Good day.

May I know how may RAM I need if I am going to install and use up to 5 Adobe apps on my iMac?

Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, After Effects, Firefly.

My current iMac is a 2017 model and has 4GM built-in RAM installed.

Yea, I think I will need to get a new Mac Pro.

Agreed. The reason why I mentioned think will need to get a new unit of Mac Pro is because of my current iMac, although if I upgrade RAM to 32GB, the processor i5 however I believe would not give the optimal performance as expected. Thanks for your feedback once again 🙂

Illustrator needs 8 GB in order to even launch. Personally I would not go below 32 GB, particularly since you want to use some very RAM hungry applications and maybe also want to use them side by side

And, may I know is there any difference between Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects?
