how to add black outlines in my torch, and make this kind of starburst

    For the radial sunburst, you could also make an isosceles triangle (one way is to make a rectangle, direct select 2 points and use Object > Path > Average... both or just use the pen tool). Fill it with a linear gradient going from the side with the two angles of the same size to the one point. Select that triangle and go to Effect > Distort & Transform > Distort. Then turn on Preview and set the registration point for where you want the pivot point. Select the number of copies you want and adjust the degrees for the spacing.

    And other way of adding the shadow is to select the torch then go to Effect > Stylize > Drop Shadow. If you don't want any feathering or any transparency, make blur 0 pt and opacity 100%. Adjust offset as needed.

    Fo the starburst use the radial grid tool with only radial dividers.

    Then use live paint to apply color.

    Expand and subtract a circle.

    To add the shadow:

    Group the elelemtns of the torch and add a fill via the appearance panel. Move below "contents"

    Apply transform effect just to this fill and move it to the right and bottom.
