How to align two lines of letters?

Hello everyone,

I want to make a DNA sequence by Illustrator. I need to align two lines of letters. However, the size of letters are not the same. I do not know how to align them letter by letter. Does anyone know how to do that?

Also on the Adobe fonts website when looking for fonts turn on the filter on the left side a little further down …
