How to change lines after using the live paint bucket tool?

Hi, I am new to Illustrator and would appreciate any help 🙂
Basically, I have a bunch of separate lines that are all individual (I can move each line on its own). But when I use the live paint bucket tool, the lines all become attached and I cant change how the lines are in any way. When I click on one line they all get selected. They are not grouped. Is there a way I could edit the lines still? Here are pictures for an example:

You can use the Direct Selection tool to select and modify individual lines.

Or you can enter Isolation mode to select and modify them with the Selection tool.

You can also select them using the Layers palette.
