How to change orientation of 3D object? Can I assign "front"?

Once I've created my 3D shape in Illustrator, the program recognizes what I would like as the front of the shape as the bottom. Can I change what is considered the "front" somehow? Thanks for your help!

Front is what you have drawn.

Do you need a different front because of the lighting?

Then try and move the light around. If it's still not possible you have to turn on the shadow and change it from Wall to Bottom
