How to change the select color from blue to red

Question

the first picture I did trace image and the outlines are blue, and I want to make it red selection for everything and every time I select like the person in the second picture choosing objects but with a red outline instead of blue. I know I can convert it to black and white outlines in general, but I just want to change the overall selection color for everything. I don't like neon blue, how do I do it? I searched for the answer but could not find it.

The selection color is just highlighting, it does not affect an image. You can control it with the Layers panel. The easiest way is described by Carlos — double-click on the layer line in the panel and choose the new color. You can also create a new file and put some content there, and it will have another highlight color. It's just a way to visually organize content, nothing more.
