How to connect adobe illustrator to Huion tablet in 2023?

How to connect adobe illustrator to Huion tablet in 2023? It works on a software test... but it's not seeing AI. It was working since 2019, then after multiple software updates it seemed to want a software update. Now it tests ok with the Huron software but it won't work in Ai.

Can anyone else help? I can not revert back to an earlier version of my software without creative cloud malfunctioning.

You can try and contact Customer Care and maybe they can login to your computer and find why it's not working.

    Go to the link above and download the latest version for your model. There is a link for a pdf manual. You will also need to read the manual and see what it says.  I downloaded a random one (H420) as I do not know your model number or OS. In that I found them mention Photoshop 2014. My guess is they stopped supporting updating their drivers, and you will need to load an older version of Adobe Creative Suite. 

     

    The Mac driver seemed newer. but is hard for us to help answer these posts when we do not know what you have.

    Hi Mike, Thanks for trying to help me. I have the correct driver. I was working with a Huion tech, ( I became frustrated when they emailed me every 24 hours with a slow reply.. I also now know that they are IN China, and I would have to work with them after 9 pm my time on the chat window).  I can only get just so far with the newest driver for my model: Huion Pen Tablet- GT-220 V2. (I am on an Imac OS Ventura 13.4. When I run the test on the software after installation it tests as if its working and recognizes the pen on the test on my desktop. It does not however see the pen in AI or PSD. 

     

    I see mentions of a work around using a wacom tablet software. But I think this is no longer accepted by AI. Seems I recently saw that as one of the updates for AI.

     

    Thoughts?
