How to convert .tmp file back to illustrator document

Question

Hi I have two documents that are in my Drop Box folder that have converted to .tmp files. I am unbale to open them. Is there any way I can convert them back to .tmp files? Feeling desperate important work. I also don't know why this has happened?

You can upload it to your Creative Cloud account ( https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/share.html ) and send us the document link.

I must also inform you that file recovery can't be guaranteed a 100% success. We'll surely try our best.
