Hello,

I am just new to Adobe family and I do not have time to learn the product but I want to do something that i am interested in it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOOUkZIS2m4 is the tutorial I am trying to do but using Adobe 2024 I am stuck. Espcially when I try to add the "Extrude & Bevel" my object become super ugly like see screenshot "error1" and at the end i never get the same as the user is doing in this version. I have tried like 10 times and wasted my 10 to 15 hours and I cannot do because the object totally changed

Anyone can please try this out and see if there is bug in Adobe illustrator 24. I am attaching the project as well.

Hope to get any answer soon.

Regards

Husnain

The YouTuber has already recorded the steps. Please show a screenshot of your attempt.

Importantly, include the entire workspace in the screenshot -- do not crop it. Select your object, and show the appearance panel (Window > Appearance).

It looks like you've applied both the new 3D effect (Effect > 3D & Materials) and the classic 3D effect (Effect > 3D & Materials > 3D (Classic)). The video only uses the Classic effect.

Also it looks like your object has a fill; the video only uses a stroke.

If I try to do the classic as the YouTuber is doing, still I do not get the
same result. Can you please try to record the steps for me Please using new
version. I do not think it will take even 2 minutes for you.
I will be super thankful to you and I have enrolled in Udemy to learn this
tool but I really want to make this right now before getting the full
skills in AI.
