How to create a PDF fil from Illustrator as an image

Hi,

 

If I have several pages in Illustrator and want to save it as a small, easy to print and load PDF file, how can I save it so it will be saved as an image and not vector objects. 

I know I can rasterize it, but if I don't want to to it every time, but need it included in the PDF saving box, so it will be saved as an image PDF -as i Photoshop.

As I (mis)understand it, you can place the artwork within the Artboard as usual, then Export to the desired raster format, then build the PDF from those images.

Not 100% sure what you mean, can you go through your workflow and show us what your desired outcome is..?
