HOW TO DO "VORTEX" LINES

Hey guys, so I was wondering how to do this kind of retro lines that are warpped, I've tried a few options but none of them end up looking as I want to.

If anyone know how to, I'd be very grateful, thanks!

Correct answer Ton Frederiks

Create a rectangle and use Object > Path > Split into Grid.

Select the result and choose Object > Envelope Distort > Make with Mesh

Try 2 rows and 2 colums and use the Direct Select tool to select and mofify the anchor points and direction handles.
