Hi,

So this is one of those problems which im sure has an easy answer.

I make sculptures and I want to do a design at full scale to use the new 'dimensions' feature. I want to then scale the whole design down to A4 but keep the 'dimensions' the same ie if a side is 2000mm I want the a4 scale to show 2000mm. I guess I can save the design as a png then paste it onto a new artboard?

Is it possible to set dimsnions to a ratio eg  1: 10 then I can draw on an A4 sized artboard to scale?

thanks,

Jake

The dimensions have options and in them you can set up their scale. https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/tool-techniques/dimension-tool.html
