How to Fix SVG Rendering Issues in WordPress When Exported from Adobe Illustrator?

Hello everyone,

I recently exported an SVG file from Adobe Illustrator, but when I upload it to my WordPress  website, the rendering appears broken or distorted. The colors, gradients, or certain elements don’t display correctly.

Issues I’m Facing:

  • Some SVG elements are missing or not rendering properly.
  • Colors and gradients look different from the original design.
  • The file appears fine in Illustrator but breaks when uploaded to WordPress.
  • Some WordPress themes/plugins seem to affect how the SVG is displayed.

Steps I’ve Tried So Far:

  • Exported the SVG with different settings
  • Cleaned up the SVG code using an SVG optimizer tool.
  • Checked my WordPress theme and SVG-supporting plugins.
  • Tried different SVG upload plugins, but the issue persists.

I would really appreciate any insights or solutions from those who have faced a similar issue!

Thanks in advance. 😊

When you open the SVG file in a browser (without first uploading to your website) - does it look OK?
