How to free transforming shapes/triangle by pulling only one point?

Hey guys!

I creating an front page by following an "tutorial" on youtube, but I cant see to figure how he creating the shaddow in the triangle at 2:04

He push a button free transforming the shape, but I somehow cant figure out how he does that. Any help?
