How-to have a script management window in Illustrator like InDesign

Hi everyone.

I've searched the forums for ages and tried several solutions, but none of them worked.

It would be great if I could customize the script storage path, right-click to open the path, and double-click to run the script.

I found this—it’s over 5,000 lines long, which is a bit excessive; my AI just froze up.

Do you have any recommendations?
Thanks!

Illustrator unfortunately doesn’t have a proper script management panel like InDesign does. The closest thing built in is File > Scripts, plus using Actions for shortcuts.

If you want an actual panel/window, most people end up using third-party tools/plugins for it. So you’re probably not missing a setting — Illustrator just handles scripts differently from InDesign 😅
