Hi !

I have a quite beginner's question for Illustrator's Masters ?

I don't know how to make a frame going up and under another form ?

Like making the Earth going round the sun ! And the Moon too !

    One of the most common questions.

    An Illustrator document is simply a stack of discrete objects (text objects, path objects, raster objects). One object cannot actually be partially in front of and partially behind another object. Those appearances are always achieved by using multiple objects, even though they may look like single objects.

    Not likely. It's standard-fare in all such programs, and it's not really a problem once you get accustomed to the fundamental principles of object-based graphics programs. Very realistic appearances are routinely built in all such programs.

    Think of physical media: Does the fact that all of the watercolor or oil paint or chalk marks reside on a single layer (the surface of the canvas) prevent the painter from rendering objects which twist and intertwine?
