How to make posters in vector-format and how to design posters?

Hi,

Where can I find an Adobe Illustrator-video-tutorial, which explain how to make professional posters containing professional 3D or high resolution images, with top quality 3D text with light and without?

I am a beginner and need to create professional posters. So I need to learn how to create one. There are no room for error or quality-fatigue.

I want to be professional in making posters.

I can use Adobe Illustrator like insert default text, change size, import and export images, but thats about it. I don’t want to spend time on learning things I would never need in making high-quality 3d posters, so that is the reason I am looking for a comprehensive course in the form of a video-tutorial, which ONLY speak about this topic, i.e making posters in high-quality with 3D text with light-effects and other important awesome designing things, which I need to know about in making a poster.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Mohammad

Nigel French has great tutorials on poster design and more:

I created a video last night on the topic:

I hope you find this information useful.

Youtube is great cause you can always find something for free on most every topic. Anyone can post there so you have to sift through some lengthy uninformative videos to get to some good ones

Lynda has content also, but not sure if you will see the videos if you click on this link and are not registered.

You want to make this kind of thing with Illustrators 3D effects?

Close to impossible.

See that you can get a training about some 3D software (Blender, Cinema 4D, whatever you prefer). Lynda.com should have this (paid ressource)

See that you can get a training on how to prepare stuff for print in Illustrator or InDesign (software doesn't actually matter, the principles are the same for any software) Lynda.com should have these as well.

And then you just need to apply this knowledge.
