Hi,

As you see in picture, "ABCD" is written onto fuselage. But it is flat.

How can i make text look like it is painted to aircraft?

I want text has a curly view.

zeytinlik,

How about something like this, shown simplified, steps shown to the right, two possible final appearances copied to the top left for comparison with the flat original, fuselage unchanged throughout?

You could use an envelope to distort the text slightly and fit it to the aircraft.

And then also you could apply a gradient to the text in order to enforce that perspective.

Maybe compare to photos to check out how the gradient needs to be designed.

Hi @zeytinlik,

Thanks for reaching out. To achieve a realistic painted-on look for text on an aircraft in Illustrator, you can use transparency settings. However, you might find better results in Adobe Photoshop for more intricate and realistic effects.

Here are a couple of tutorials that might help you achieve the desired effect in Photoshop:

These tutorials provide step-by-step guidance on creating textured and painted text effects. Feel free to explore them and adapt the techniques to suit your specific design and style preferences.
